Be very aware of body language, and stop before there's a problem. A bunch of short but good interactions is better than one long one that goes badly. Good luck!Michelle N.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13372977385928621549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9140775248005942574.post-3929647495989035022023-06-11T17:40:12.773-05:002023-06-11T17:40:12.773-05:00We just picked up our new Holland Lop today and in...We just picked up our new Holland Lop today and introducing her to our 2 dogs and 2 cats SLOWLY! Her sister was supposed to be with us as well but sadly ended up having the dwarfism gene and didn’t make it past 5 1/2 weeks. We are still trying to decide if we want to pursue another female lop. So far all the other fur babies have been very interested but not to the point of lunging or acting aggressive towards her. She’s even taken it upon herself to sniff the dog’s noses and apparently wasn’t too impressed but didn’t lose her mind. Her breeder said she was used to dogs and ducks as she has them on her property but they didn’t really interact… just the noises.. My main concern is our cats. One is super interested and the other hasn’t even noticed she’s here. We have friends that have bunnies that literally think they are dogs because that’s all they have interacted with LOL! Any advice from folks that have successfully introduced these 2 pets would be greatly appreciated! I am considering doing exactly what she has done, introducing a cat to our bunny. I miss having a cat companion. (We love our bunny as well)! I am so glad to see this site!!Freedom-and-joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04140338011504649767noreply@blogger.com
